Addressing past traumas often involves therapeutic interventions to promote healing and resilience.
These traumas are carried away for prolonged duration with the help of repetitive thought mechanism that keeps the trauma alive.
The diagnosis of such repetitive thought mechanisms is done by a psychological test known as the Ruminative Thematic Apperception Test (RTAT).
